Library Christmas Tree Guessing Game Ornaments 1-4

For the next few school days I will post a few pictures at a time of our Christmas tree ornaments for the guessing game.  Forms for recording your guesses are in the library so stop by and pick one up.

Can you guess the books each of these ornaments represent?  Zoom in and look carefully at any clues that may be found on the ornaments.

Good luck!

P.S.  Also, don't forget about the other contest we're sponsoring in which YOU can make your own ornament representing a favorite book.  Those ornaments need to be turned in to the library by the first of next week.

It's Time For Another Contest

Hey, kiddos!  It's almost December and that means it's time for the library to sponsor another contest.  This year, we are having TWO contests, giving you an extra chance to win something.

First up, is our annual Christmas Tree Ornament Guessing Game.  Beginning Tuesday, stop by the library and take a look at our library's tree.  Each numbered ornament represents a book.  The student in each grade who correctly identifies the most titles wins!  Forms for the contest are on the circulation desk.  Pictures of the ornaments will also be posted here for you to see, in case you don't get the chance to stop by the library. So, check back here often!

Also this year we are inviting YOU to make an ornament based on your favorite book or book character, too!  Information about this (pictured below) will be passed out in ELA class tomorrow.  If you need more information or lose your paper, stop by the library and see me.  There will be a prize for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, and we'll have a "Fan Favorite" and "Staff Choice" award, too!

I can't wait to see your wonderful creations.  If it's anything like the pumpkin characters you did, we are in for a treat, for sure!
