Our eighth-graders have been reading the Newbery-winning book The Crossover by Kwame Alexander during this first nine weeks. A wonderful novel in verse, it has been well-liked by most everyone. For anyone wanting to read more fictional works by Alexander, be sure to check out Rebound (the prequel to The Crossover) and Booked.
