April 12 - 18 is National Library Week. To celebrate, we're sponsoring a little contest. Over the weekend students that wish to participate are being asked to write a list of as many movies featuring library scenes as they can. On a sheet of paper they should write the title of the movie along with a line or two describing the scene in which a library is featured. For instance,
National Treasure features a scene in which Ben and Riley visit the Library of Congress to find books on the Declaration of Independence. These lists should be returned to Ms. Creasy in the library at some point on Monday, April 20. The student(s) with the longest list will win a nice bag of prizes.
